Pakistan turns 70

We are a great nation as we unlock doors of disaster and embrace it happily for the world to see. We are a great nation to believe that nothing in this country resembles in the slightest the image than its name and its meaning yet it is sufficient for us to keep going. We are a great nation who works twice as hard to eke out half the living yet it is acceptable to blindly following the standardized social norms.  We are a great nation who has been pushed into sinking realization that ours is the most vulnerable nation but the fact is not comforting enough to let us down. We are a country of millions who go through enough of turmoil yet believe in the art of productivity.

Pakistan is a lot more than terrorism, unease, commotion and negativity for the one who has power to see. It is a country who has outsized interest in the beauty of various cultures and tradition. It makes you go deep down in the depth of its nature and lets you revamp the kind of picture you have created. Needless to say, not all have courage to believe in what is apparent and true. Life in this country is not easy but I’m afraid it’s not as hard or absurd as many have made it seem. Explicitly dealing with the animosity of more than half of the world for years, today we are living to celebrate 70th birthday of our motherland, who after so much of hardships, stand young and determined Alhamdulillah.
